AMLA Membership

AMLA (Ahmadiyya Muslim Lawyers Association) members consist of dedicated men and women from all walks of the legal profession, including law students, law clerks, and licensed attorneys. As true Ahmadis, they are committed to actively participating in their professional associations, serving with sincerity, and prioritizing their pledge of Bai'at (initiation) and the fear of Allah above personal interests. Guided by the teachings of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih Al Khamis (aba), they strive to contribute selflessly to the legal community while upholding the values of justice, integrity, and faith. Huzoor (atba) mentioned regarding lawyers:

"A true Ahmadi [lawyer] will definitely come forward to help the association in all kinds of works."
(This Week With Huzoor – Jalsa Salana UK 2022 Special)

"Ahmadi lawyers, as well as both parties [in legal disputes], must give preference to their pledge of Bai'at [initiation] and the fear of Allah the Exalted over their personal interests."
Friday Sermon (February 11, 2017).

These statements highlight the expectation that AMLA members—whether law students, clerks, or practicing attorneys—should serve with sincerity, uphold justice, and prioritize faith over worldly gains.
