AMLA Member Adnan Shams Recognized by Legal 500 for Corporate & M&A in Chicago

AMLA USA congratulates member Adnan Shams on his recognition in the Legal 500 Chicago Elite guide for Corporate and M&A. Adnan serves as Managing Partner of the Chicago office of Lorium P.C., where he leads a corporate practice spanning mergers and acquisitions, financial services, and cross-border transactions.

With more than 15 years in corporate law, Adnan has advised high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals as well as businesses across a range of industries. A background in accounting and technology shapes how he approaches deal structuring, giving clients a practitioner who understands both the legal and financial mechanics of a transaction. Earlier in his career, he co-founded SRM Law and later practiced with Marshall Grant PLLC before joining Lorium, where he now heads the firm’s Chicago office.

This recognition builds on a track record of professional acclaim — Adnan was previously named a “Rising Star” for six consecutive years by a leading legal ratings publication. Outside of his practice, he currently serves as Practice Group Chair for Business and Intellectual Property for a nonprofit community service organization, and volunteers with a nonprofit disaster relief organization. Raised in the Chicagoland area, Adnan has stayed closely connected to the community that shaped his career.
